Building Energy Performance under the EPBD | Taking Stock and Looking Forward

EU Sustainable Energy Week, Brussels, 28/6/2013
Under the auspices of the Irish EU Presidency – represented by Mr. Fergus O’Dowd, T.D., Minister of State, Department of the Environment, Community and Local Government of Ireland – the 2012 Book ‘Implementing the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive – Featuring Country Reports’ was handed to Ms. Claudia Canevari, DG Energy, EC during the joint EC – Concerted Action EPBD stakeholders event on the 28th of June 2013.
Panel discussions followed between several top experts in the field of the EPBD and the market. The first discussion triggered interest through visionary views on the progress in Building Energy Efficiency in the EU. The second focused on Driving the market transformation and dealt with Vision,Challenges, and Opportunities for Delivering the Potential.
